Help TypeAside spell your names and specialist vocabulary.
Add a term
- Open Dictionary in the desktop app.
- Enter a word or name using the spelling you want.
- Add it to your dictionary, then try it in a dictation.
TypeAside sends dictionary terms as a transcription prompt and asks the cleanup model to preserve their spelling. Recognition still depends on the provider and audio quality.
Remove a term
Hover over the entry and choose Remove.
Use the dictionary for vocabulary. Use Snippets when a phrase should expand into a longer piece of text.
